So.
2020. It's almost over.
It's funny, as a year ago, I was in a rather optimistic place. I had a new job lined up! I was going to work on my writing! I even had some vague plans to travel abroad once I got settled in at the new gig!
So, if anyone actively reads my stories, they might have noticed something new. In the author's notes of forty of my stories, I've added something: the date that they were revised for print. Minus a few very recent stories, there is a huge bump in quality from the previous editions. Most of my stories that will be ready for the first book I have I have in mind are from 2017. That's a huge leap in what I can do as a writer, and most of the stories got far more than a deep scrub of their quality;
... and it's going on day 4 in the box of shame.
Today at work I was being productive and busy, working on a Robinson 44, when a pilot just randomly walked into the hangar, and gave me some beer and whiskey shooters because "they had been on the plane for a bit too long" and left.
I'm at my dad's, just loaded up the wood burner because the furnace is still fucked.

Hello, this is Zephyr Spark. As I've written more chapters of "Spike Meets Mimikyu," I've noticed that each chapter receives fewer and fewer comments. This made me worry that I have burned out my original audience who have grown bored of my long chapters and that I'm putting too much effort into a story that nobody cares about anymore. I've been acting as a pre-reader for Dinode's new story, The Midnight Filly, and also being a sounding board for ideas regarding the series he wishes to start with it. I've unfortunately been unable to help as much as I'd like, with my 2017-2018 schedule being all kinds of Gonzo Bananas, but I do think he's got great ideas, a characterful style, and a good grasp of the English language!
Evening folks, how are ya all?
I realize I've been pretty quiet on this site lately. Most of my blogs have been update blogs, and they've really been minor ones at that. I've published a few chapters of Cyclosa, but that's one of my lesser viewed stories so I imagine the least likely to perturb anyone. And yet its the one i'm prioritizing cause I'm apparently dumb.
Next two chapters of Project Sparkle are done!
First is out, next coming soon when the first reaches the bottom of the stack, gotta try and stay in that spotlight somehow.
Upcoming at some point soon is a new story featuring mai waifu best pony Applejack. It's partially The Road, mostly STALKER, all post-apocalyptic fun and chaos.
